Waterloo High School offers a wide range of educational opportunities for its students. Here's a breakdown of some of the key programs and experiences:
- Advanced Classes in English, Math, Science, and Social Studies including AP Literature, AP Language, AP Calculus, Gemini Biology and AP World History and AP US History.
- Family and Consumer Science Classes offer practical skills and knowledge in areas such as home economics, culinary arts, and personal finance.
- Foreign Language programs offers Spanish and French classes up to level five, providing a comprehensive language learning experience. Students can potentially earn Gemini credits and the Seal of Biliteracy, demonstrating their proficiency in these languages.

- Early College High School Program: Waterloo High School has established a partnership with Finger Lakes Community College, offering dual credit classes. - The Seal of Civic Readiness can be earned on a Waterloo diploma to show the student’s understanding of a commitment to participatory government; civic responsibility and civic values.
